What is your best holiday memory?
I remember as a child when I was on the floor near the Christmas tree. Dad would be getting ready lights, big C9 is dangerous. Do not have blinders shortly thereafter. I can still hear the sound of jingling bulbs together. When I heard that sound and plugged their father to check outs to record, I was surprised. The brightness and brilliance, could not wait 'til he got them on the tree. Also the smell was gone every Christmas ornament box in that age. The half burnt candles Christmas, an ornament that you wanted to put on the tree every year. Now I have that smell in my box of jewelry. I use outside of C9 and blindfolded in the tree. Every year I remember those days as a child and brings me a nice warm feeling at home near and at the same time, the sadness. The man, who cries all that fast.
So many! One of my best memories was when I was 8. Mom and Dad searched me and my two younger sisters as we opened the gifts. Men were loud! shouting and screaming "thanks mom thanks dad." that I have a Chrissy doll years. LOL I'm showing my age. was like a giant barbie red hair and you could make long or short hair, turning a button in the middle of the back. my cousin and I are the same age, so we both have one. But what I like most is that the hearing children and hearing Mom and Dad's voices. unfortunately I lost both in 1991. every six months. the other was the favorite holiday last year. my sisters did not give me anything about my dad when he left us. I do not blame them because I went the deepest part after losing my parents. When I finally got my life together I asked some of my dad. one of my sisters had wedding ring my dad. is beautiful, wide gold band with 3 1 / 4 carat diamond. I always wanted that ring. when dad did not have it on I understand and use while at home. it was funny, Mom and Dad have joked about my frisked before going home to make sure that I leave you with one of his rings.LOL. anyway, I asked my sister dad if he could ring. adamently she said "NO". just broke my heart. my sisters were not just at the time what my parents split had three ways. I asked for the ring of five years. last year my birthday fell on the day of thanksgiving. we were all at home with our sisters family dinner when he left a beautiful cake with candles on it far too LOL. I was surprised. I read all the letters b-day and opened all the gifts I had given. everyone I knew moving to one side of the room and my nieces all had video cameras and camears I said when I opened the last gift. ERA !!!!!!!! MY DADDY'S RING bawlin I started and ran to my sister to Lil hug and thanks to her. my sister is a little thing I'm not ... she told all to protect her so do not inject until death! LOL I have to ring on my finger right now and that's where it will remain until one of my nephews is sufficiently Big and getting married. that is when I'm going to go down. well, that's just two of many wonderful holidays. as a matter of fact, my b-day is on Sat and we are taking thanks then. everyone has to work on Fri so we decided to do so through Sat for everyone to be there. we are taking my sisters house and she lives one hour half away. Well, there's my answer. OH! and soo right about the time screaming. That is sad. Have a great Thanksgiving. God bless. Deanne
